Indian Navy aids search for capsized Chinese vessel in Indian Ocean.

India deployed P-8I maritime patrol aircraft to assist in the search and rescue operations for the crew members of a capsized Chinese fishing vessel in the southern Indian Ocean Region. The P-8I aircraft located multiple objects belonging to the sunken vessel and dropped life rafts with equipment for survival at sea. India also dispatched four warships with emergency aid to Cyclone Mocha-hit Myanmar. The P-8I and drones are often deployed to boost surveillance of the northern land borders with China amid heightened tensions.
