India to Host Virtual G20 Meet Amid Gaza Conflict

India is set to host a virtual meeting of the G20, bringing together global leaders and the African Union. Russian President Vladimir Putin will attend for the first time in two years, while US President Joe Biden will be represented by treasury secretary Janet Yellen. This meeting will also mark the first virtual interaction between Canadian PM Justin Trudeau and PM Modi since their diplomatic standoff. While India aims to focus on the development agenda, the Israel-Hamas conflict may also be discussed. India secured consensus on various issues at the previous G20 summit and is now working on their implementation.
