China's Aggressive Display: Ships and Fighter Jets Headed Towards Taiwan

China has sent navy ships and a large group of fighter jets toward Taiwan, intensifying its military pressure on the island. Taiwan's defense ministry reported that 33 warplanes and 6 navy vessels were deployed, with some fighter jets crossing the unofficial boundary of the Taiwan Strait. In response, Taiwan has been bolstering its defenses by purchasing weapons and fighter jets, and the US recently announced a $345 million arms package for Taiwan.
