Egypt is set to host the Cairo Peace Summit to address the escalating war between Israel and Hamas in Gaza. The conference will be attended by several world leaders, including Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, Jordanian King Abdullah, and representatives from Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Italy, Spain, Greece, Cyprus, South Africa, Germany, France, Japan, the UK, Norway, Russia, China, the United Nations, the European Council, and the European Union.
