Global May Day rallies demand better labor conditions and pension reforms.

Workers across Asia and Europe took to the streets on May Day to demand economic justice and better working conditions. French unions protested against President Emmanuel Macron's plan to raise the retirement age, while South Koreans demanded higher wages. In Spain, unions warned of "social conflict" if salaries did not rise in line with inflation, and in Germany, feminist and queer groups protested against violence targeting women and LGBTQ+ people. Protests also took place in Lebanon, Indonesia, Taiwan, and North Korea.
