Ukraine Rejects 10 German Leopard 1 Tanks Citing Poor Condition

Ukraine has rejected a shipment of 10 Leopard 1A5 tanks from Germany due to their poor condition, stating that the necessary repairs are beyond their capabilities. The tanks were reportedly worn during training exercises in Germany. Germany has sent experts to inspect the vehicles and repairs are said to be underway in cooperation with Ukraine. This comes after Germany, Denmark, and the Netherlands announced plans to provide Ukraine with around 100 older Leopard 1 tanks, with additional tanks being purchased and donated by Denmark and the Netherlands.
