Ukraine Leads the Way with Rheinmetall Caracal Air Assault Vehicles

Rheinmetall has secured an agreement to provide Ukraine with five Caracal Air Assault Vehicles, making Ukraine the first country to deploy this military vehicle. The Caracal, built on Mercedes-Benz's G-model 464 series chassis, offers mobility, lightweight construction, and protection against ballistic and landmine threats. Its compact design allows for transportation in heavy transport helicopters and underslung transport methods. The modular design enables the Caracal to serve various roles, from troop transport to combat engineering. Rheinmetall has also secured contracts with the German and Dutch armed forces for large-scale production of the Caracal.
