Israel's Arrow 3 Successfully Intercepts Yemeni Ballistic Missiles

Israel has confirmed the first operational use of its Arrow-3 system to intercept an enemy missile, marking the first operational intercept for the weapon since it was initially deployed in 2017. The Arrow-3 system, which is part of Israel's sophisticated air-defense network, successfully countered a salvo of ballistic missiles fired by Houthi militants, an Iran-backed group in Yemen. The Arrow-3 system, developed jointly with the US, is the top layer of Israel's multi-layered air-defense system and is designed to eliminate threats in space. Together with the Arrow-2 system, which has also been used during the recent conflict, they provide comprehensive protection against missiles, rockets, artillery, and drones.
