Germany and Israel Ink $3.5bn Historic Missile Defense Deal

Germany and Israel have signed a historic $3.5 billion deal for Germany to acquire the Israeli-made Arrow 3 hypersonic missile system, which will enhance Europe's defense against air attacks. The deal marks the largest-ever military industry sale for Israel. Germany has been leading efforts to strengthen NATO's air defenses in Europe following Russia's invasion of Ukraine, and the Arrow 3 system will make German air defense ready for the future.
