Iranian hacktivist group, GhyamSarnegouni, gained access to Iran's Foreign Ministry servers, leaked sensitive data, and defaced the ministry's website. The group targeted Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in their message. Hacking groups have increasingly targeted government agencies since anti-regime protests began sweeping the country last year. The leaked data revealed correspondence between Iran and European officials over a proposed prisoner swap.
