Russian Forces Discover Prigozhin's Stash of Billions in Cash

Russian security forces have found boxes containing a total of 4 billion roubles (approximately US$47 million) near the office of Yevgeny Prigozhin, the leader of the Wagner Group Private Military Company, in St Petersburg. Prigozhin confirmed that the money was his and claimed that it was earmarked for wages, compensation for fighters killed in action, and other expenses. He also stated that Wagner Group has always used cash for all payments during its 10 years in business.
