Murder cases and political turmoil in Andhra Pradesh

The Supreme Court is set to hear an appeal filed by N Sunitha Reddy challenging the grant of protection from arrest to YSR Congress party MP Y S Avinash Reddy in connection with the murder of her father and former MP Y S Vivekananda Reddy. Meanwhile, Vivekananda Reddy’s supposed second wife, Shameem, and her son Shahen Shah are reportedly planning to move the Telangana high court asking for a share in his properties, claiming to be legal heirs. This could give a new weapon to YSR Congress party and its MP Avinash Reddy, who have alleged that the illegal marriage of Viveka might be one of the reasons for his murder and there are property disputes within his family.
