Jasmine Hartin admits guilt in shooting death of Belize top cop.

Canadian socialite Jasmine Hartin has pleaded guilty to manslaughter by negligence in the shooting death of Belize top cop Henry Jemmott. Hartin, the ex-wife of British billionaire Lord Michael Ashcroft’s son Andrew, claimed that she was practicing loading a gun when it went off and killed Jemmott. She will be sentenced on May 31, and the judge is unlikely to veer away from a precedent that calls for a non-custodial sentence and a fine for a guilty plea to manslaughter by negligence.
