Anti-Capitalist Cafe Fails to Survive First Year

An anti-capitalist coffee shop in Toronto, called The Anarchist, which allowed customers to pay whatever they wanted for drip coffee, has closed after one year in business. The cafe sold radical books, art, pins, and T-shirts, and allowed people who didn't buy anything to hang out or use the restrooms. The owner blamed a lack of generational wealth for the shop's failure, but claimed it was a "huge success" and plans to launch new ventures.
