"Finland Continues Reign as World's Happiest Country in 2023"

Finland has been declared the happiest country in the world for the sixth year in a row, according to the annual World Happiness Report. The list is based on factors such as GDP per capita, social support, healthy life expectancy, freedom, generosity, and corruption. The top eight happiest countries are in Western Europe, with Denmark, Iceland, Israel, and The Netherlands rounding out the top five. The US ranks at number 15, ahead of Germany, the United Kingdom, France, and Costa Rica. Afghanistan was considered the least happy nation, with Lebanon, Sierra Leone, Zimbabwe, and the Democratic Republic of Congo close behind.
