Michigan Winter Storm: Snow, Rain, and Heavy Impact Forecast

A powerful winter storm is expected to bring two bursts of snow and one burst of rain to southwest Michigan from late tonight through Wednesday. The burst of snow on Tuesday morning could be heavy and dangerous for driving, with 2 to 4 inches expected. Temperatures will warm up, causing the snow to change to rain for Tuesday afternoon and evening before gradually cooling off and changing back to snow showers by Wednesday morning. Driving conditions will be most dangerous on Tuesday morning but should improve in the afternoon as temperatures rise above freezing.
