"Hurricane Lee Strengthens, Threatens East Coast with Hazardous Conditions"

The National Hurricane Center is tracking Hurricane Lee, Tropical Storm Margot, and two other disturbances in the eastern Atlantic. Hurricane Lee has regained major hurricane strength with maximum sustained winds of 120 mph. Lee is expected to move northeast of the Bahamas, west of Bermuda, and east of the southeastern United States. While Florida is likely to be spared a direct hit, dangerous surf, rip currents, and coastal flooding are expected along the U.S. East Coast. The impacts of Lee in the eastern U.S. and Atlantic Canada will depend on its exact track. Tropical Storm Margot is also expected to strengthen into a hurricane.
