Many prominent criminal defence lawyers in the Southern District of Florida, where Trump faces charges, are declining to join his legal team. Trump's tendency to disregard legal advice and make incriminating statements in public settings, as well as his history of refusing to pay for services rendered, have made it difficult for him to secure competent representation. Trump is expected to be represented at his arraignment by Christopher Kise and Todd Blanche.
