"Special Counsel Concludes Investigation into Biden's Handling of Classified Documents Without Charges"

An independent investigation into classified documents found at President Joe Biden's home and a think tank office he used has concluded without indication of any criminal charges being brought. Attorney General Merrick Garland stated that the bulk of the final report is expected to be made public soon, pending a legal privilege review by Biden’s White House Counsel’s Office. The investigation, conducted by Special Counsel Robert Hur, found about 20 classified documents at the Biden-related sites, and despite interviewing Biden over two days, no criminal charges were expected due to longstanding Justice Department legal opinions precluding charges against a sitting president.
