Nevada GOP Officials Face Felony Charges for Impersonating Pro-Trump Electors

Six top Nevada GOP officials, including the head of the Nevada Republican Party, have been indicted on felony charges for falsely pledging the state's electoral votes to Donald Trump in the 2020 election. The charges include offering a false instrument for filing and uttering a forged instrument. These officials were part of a group of false electors who signed certificates falsely claiming to be the legitimate representatives of the state's voters in the Electoral College. Nevada is the third state to bring criminal charges against false electors, following Michigan and Georgia.
