The co-defendant, Michael Roman, alleges that a witness will testify that Willis and Wade's relationship started before he was hired for the case, contradicting Wade's affidavit. Roman also claims that Willis and Wade financially benefited from the case, alleging payments for travel and vacations. The DA's office has asked the judge to quash a subpoena for a witness and cancel an evidentiary hearing scheduled for next week.
