Mysterious respiratory illness sweeps through dogs nationwide, Minnesota remains unaffected

A mysterious respiratory illness is spreading among dogs across the country, with rare cases turning deadly. Although no cases have been reported in Minnesota, symptoms include coughing, sneezing, eye or nose discharge, and lethargy. The disease's transmission method is unknown, and there is currently no test for it. Vets recommend keeping dogs up-to-date on vaccines, reducing contact with unknown dogs, and avoiding shared water bowls to help prevent the illness.
