Mysterious Dog Illness Spreads Across US, Raising Concerns

A mysterious dog illness that was first discovered on the West Coast has now reached Massachusetts, with cases reported in 14 states. The symptoms resemble those of Kennel Cough, starting with a cough and sometimes a runny nose, followed by loss of appetite. In severe cases, the cough can develop into pneumonia within 24 to 48 hours. Experts recommend avoiding boarding dogs and close contact with unfamiliar dogs, and to isolate dogs that are coughing and contact a vet immediately.
