27 dead in Peru gold mine fire.

A fire at a gold mine in Arequipa, Peru, caused by a short circuit, killed at least 27 people, while 175 workers were safely evacuated. The explosion trapped the miners inside, and the official cause remains under investigation. Relatives of the victims were brought to the entrance of the mine to wait for the bodies of their loved ones.
