Ford has unveiled the 2025 Mustang GTD, a race car for the road with over 800 horsepower and a sub-7-minute Nurburgring lap time. Hand-assembled at Multimatic's facilities in Canada, the GTD features a carbon fiber exterior, a hydraulically controlled rear wing, and an optional carbon fiber underbody aero package. It is powered by an improved 5.2-liter supercharged V8 engine, equipped with a new dry-sump oil system, and paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch rear transaxle. The GTD also boasts a unique suspension system with adaptive spool valve dampers and hydraulic control.
