Discord Backtracks on Privacy Policy Changes Amid AI Concerns

Discord has promised its users that it will not store call recordings, despite the latest updates to its privacy policy. The policy was updated to say that Discord would be collecting information on any content that users upload to the service. However, after users raised concerns on Reddit, Discord added back in the missing language, stating that it generally does not store the contents of video or voice calls or channels. Discord has been fined €800,000 for privacy violations in the EU last year.
