KTM's MotoGP Bike Falls Short in Comparison to Ducati

KTM's updated MotoGP bike, the RC16, showed promising performance at the Japanese Grand Prix, with Brad Binder setting a new lap record in practice and finishing second in the sprint race. However, Binder identified areas where the bike still lacks compared to Ducati, particularly in terms of rear tire wear and corner exit. While confident of further improvements with the carbon fiber chassis, Binder acknowledged that the RC16 is only a small step towards consistently challenging Ducati for the championship. Teammate Jack Miller also had a solid performance with the new bike, finishing fourth and sixth in the respective races.
