"Vampire Survivors: Upgraded Engine, Co-Op Chaos, and Improved Performance Await"

Indie game Vampire Survivors is set to receive a major upgrade on August 17, including the addition of a co-op mode and a switch to a new engine. Beta testers have praised the performance gains and described the game as a "completely different" experience. In co-op mode, up to four players can team up to defeat supernatural enemies, with a shared XP pool and the ability to revive downed players. The update will also introduce a new item called the Friendship Amulet. A free hands-on preview of the co-op mode will be held in London in early August.
