Playground Games Co-Founder Establishes New AAA Studio, Lighthouse Games.

Gavin Raeburn, former co-founder of Playground Games, has opened a new AAA development studio called Lighthouse Games in Leamington Spa, UK. The studio is currently working on an unannounced new IP and plans to create a long-running franchise. Lighthouse Games is comprised of a team of 30 experienced developers and is not seeking funding, instead planning to work with a publisher who takes a longer-term view of the market. Raeburn is keen to support local universities, hire graduates, and create mentoring opportunities for his team.
