Larian's Defense: BG3 Developers Expand Epilogue and Dispel Content Cut Rumors

Developers and industry professionals have come to the defense of Larian Studios, the developers of Baldur's Gate 3, after dataminers discovered alleged "cut content" in the game's code. Former Baldur's Gate 2 and Dragon Age writer, David Gaider, explained that cuts are a normal part of game development and are often necessary for various reasons such as technical issues or tonal inconsistencies. Larian CEO, Sven Vincke, clarified that the alleged cuts were editorial decisions made to avoid overwhelming players and that the game's release date was not a factor in the decision-making process. The developers have acknowledged fan feedback and plan to re-expand certain aspects of the game in future patches.
