Larian Studios Confirms: No Baldur's Gate 3 DLC or Baldur's Gate 4

Larian Studios founder Swen Vincke announced at a GDC panel that the developer won't be creating any DLC or expansions for Baldur's Gate 3, nor will they be working on a Baldur's Gate 4, as they plan to move away from Dungeons & Dragons entirely and explore new projects, leaving the IP in the hands of Wizards of the Coast. The studio has been focusing on free patches and is currently working on robust mod support for the game. Larian's next project could potentially be another entry in the Divinity series, as they had previously expressed interest in a sequel to Divinity: Original Sin.
