Valve has officially launched Counter-Strike 2, a major free update to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, on PC via Steam. Running on Source Engine 2, the game provides a graphical facelift to the popular first-person shooter while introducing upgrades and redesigns to the maps. Notably, players now have the ability to refund their weapons if they accidentally purchase the wrong item. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, originally released in 2012, remains one of the most popular PC games on Steam, aided by its transition to free-to-play in 2018.
