Elden Ring Director Teases Potential Sequel and Expansions

From Software boss Hidetaka Miyazaki has not ruled out the possibility of creating Elden Ring 2 or a second expansion for the game, despite the upcoming release of the first expansion, Shadow of the Erdtree, in June. The game has shipped 23 million copies since its release in February 2022. Miyazaki stated that while there are no current plans for a sequel or additional DLC, the studio is open to the possibility in the future. Shadow of the Erdtree will introduce a new story, world, and RPG features, and is available for pre-order in various editions.
