The Japanese version of Baldur's Gate 3 will be heavily censored, removing elements such as nudity and violence to comply with Japan's stricter content laws. Spike Chunsoft, the publisher of the PS5 version in Japan, confirmed the alterations made to receive a CERO rating, including the removal of nudity and depictions of internal organs, as well as the option to torture prisoners. These changes are specific to the PS5 version and not the PC version, where players can easily restore cut content using mods.
