Ark Devs Face Backlash Over Price Changes and Bundle Cancellation

Studio Wildcard has cancelled the Ark Respawned Bundle, which would have included Ark Survival Ascended and Ark 2, and is instead releasing a standalone version of Ark Survival Ascended for $60 on all platforms. The bundle will include all previously announced paid-for expansion packs. Studio Wildcard also explained why it is not making any upgrades to the original Ark: Survival Evolved and is instead focusing on the new, Unreal Engine 5-powered Ark: Survival Ascended and Ark II. The official servers for Ark: Survival Evolved will close on August 31, just before Ark: Survival Ascended launches.
