MSI data breach exposes Intel BootGuard keys, leaving hundreds of devices vulnerable.

MSI suffered a ransomware attack last month, and confidential data, including company source codes, was illegally accessed. The leaked data might have contained BootGuard keys, which could impact the security of various Intel-based systems. Over 200 MSI products are affected, and the leak might also impact Intel CSME, OEM unlock, ISH firmware, SMIP, and other tools. The scope of the data breach is still uncertain, and Intel and MSI have not yet released any statements on the matter.
