Konami boosts growth with new Osaka studio and salary increases.

Konami has opened a new studio and raised the base salaries of its staff to improve employee engagement and enhance its competitiveness. The Osaka Studio comes packed with motion capture equipment and sound studios, while the R&D centre in Tokyo is aimed at strengthening health and productivity management for a healthier work environment. The base salary of its staff has been raised by an average of ¥50,000 ($376) a month, or ¥600,000 ($4,515) a year, and starting salaries for new graduates have also been increased.
