Toyota Refuses Warranty Coverage for GR86 Engine Failure on Track

A 2022 Toyota GR86 owner experienced engine failure during a warmup lap on a track, and was later informed by the dealer that the warranty would not cover the repair due to track use. Toyota also refused to provide warranty coverage, leaving the owner with a $13,000 bill for a full engine replacement. The car had no engine modifications and was running on 5W30 oil changed the previous day.
