Google Warns Employees About AI Chatbot Usage

Alphabet, Google's parent company, has warned its employees not to share confidential information with AI chatbots, including its own Google Bard, as the data is stored by the companies that own the technology. Anything said to an AI chatbot can be used to train it, and the companies behind these bots store the data, which could be visible to their employees. Google collects conversations, location, feedback, and usage information from Bard, and selects a subset of conversations as samples to be reviewed by trained reviewers and kept for up to three years.
