Google Bard has received an update that improves its ability to provide concise summaries of information and identify sources. The update incorporates advances in large language models and allows users to ask Bard to summarize a specific article or story or to give a quick explanation of a topic. Additionally, Bard now lists sources with numbers in the text that link out to the source, making it easier for users to understand which parts of a response match a source and provide source links in line with the text. This is the third update to Bard released this month, following the language and region expansion and support for Google Workspace accounts.
