Congressman reports ex-49ers player to Capitol Police over alleged execution threat.

Former NFL player Bruce Miller, who played for the San Francisco 49ers and Jacksonville Jaguars, is accused of threatening to execute California congressman Eric Swalwell. The threat was sent as a direct message to Swalwell from Miller’s social media account. Miller was released from the 49ers in 2016 after being charged with seven felonies after he allegedly assaulted a 70-year-old man. Swalwell reported the threat to the Capitol Police.
