Spectacular Fireball Illuminates Skies Across North America

A brilliant fireball, originating from outer space, lit up the skies over the U.S. Midwest and parts of Canada on November 13, 2024. The meteor was visible from Alberta and Saskatchewan in Canada, as well as several U.S. states, and was captured by numerous cameras and NOAA's GOES weather satellites. The event was described as one of the most spectacular fireballs by witnesses, with a bright green streak and flash. This meteor was distinct from a Starlink satellite reentry observed earlier in the week.
