Indiana State Police are preparing for the upcoming solar eclipse by increasing the number of officers in uniform and out in cars, particularly along busy travel routes such as U.S. 31 and Kern Roads. With an expected influx of about a million people traveling into Indiana to witness the event, police are bracing for traffic similar to that of a Notre Dame game.
