Sea Otter Menace: Surfboard Theft Spreads Panic in California

Wildlife officials in California are searching for a female sea otter that has been displaying aggressive behavior towards humans, particularly surfers, at Cowell Beach in Santa Cruz. The otter, born in captivity, was released into the wild but continued to be monitored. Trained marine wildlife experts from the California Department of Fish and Wildlife and the Monterey Bay Aquarium are working together to capture the otter, which has not caused any confirmed injuries.
