"Record-Breaking 400-Pound Stingray Caught in Long Island Sound"

Connecticut Fish and Wildlife crew caught a rare 400-pound roughtail stingray, measuring over 6 feet long and 5 feet wide, in Long Island Sound. The crew quickly measured the stingray and released it back into the water unharmed. The crew also caught a cobia, a predatory fish. The Long Island Sound Trawl Survey aims to measure the abundance of marine animals in the area.
