Multiple Bison Attacks Leave Tourists Injured at Yellowstone National Park

A woman from Phoenix, Arizona was gored by a bison in Yellowstone National Park while walking with another individual near Lake Yellowstone. The woman sustained significant injuries to her chest and abdomen and was airlifted to a nearby medical center. This is the first reported incident of 2023, and visitors are reminded to maintain a safe distance from wildlife in the park. Bison can be unpredictable and should be approached from at least 25 yards away.
