Weekend Weather Update: Rain Chances Saturday, Dry Sunday

Much of Minnesota, including areas in severe and extreme drought, will see areas of rain and isolated thunderstorms on Saturday due to an approaching cool front and upper-level disturbance. Sunday is expected to be mostly dry, with a chance of isolated showers in eastern Minnesota and western Wisconsin. Temperatures will range from the 60s to lower 80s throughout the weekend, with cooler temperatures in the northern regions. The Twin Cities metro area will have highs around 80 degrees on Saturday and lower 70s on Sunday.
