Upcoming Rain and Cooler Temperatures Expected in Colorado

Colorado is expected to experience a cool down and soaking rains on Friday and Saturday as a result of a triple weather system. Monsoon flow from a high pressure ridge, moisture from the remnants of Tropical Storm Harold, and a Canadian cold front will converge over Colorado, bringing heavy rain showers and thunderstorms that could lead to flash flooding. Rainfall amounts may range from 1 to 3 inches, and temperatures are expected to drop as much as 10 degrees below normal.
