Unpredictable Weather: Cloudy Start, Showers and Thunderstorms Expected

The Metro Detroit area can expect cloud cover and a chance of showers and thunderstorms throughout the weekend, with temperatures remaining below average. Some thunderstorms near the Michigan/Ohio State Line may be strong to briefly severe, with gusty winds and heavy rainfall as the primary threats. Sunday will bring some sunshine but isolated rain showers are possible. Next week, high pressure will bring plenty of sunshine and temperatures will gradually increase before another cold front brings another chance of showers and thunderstorms midweek.
