Tropical Storm Watch: Two Disturbances Brewing in the Caribbean

Tropical Storm Pilar is expected to bring a flood threat to Central America as it moves through the Caribbean Sea. Another area of disturbed weather in the western Caribbean Sea may develop into a tropical storm and pose a threat to parts of Central America as well. The warm waters and low wind shear in the region increase the chances of tropical development. Meanwhile, Tropical Storm Pilar in the Eastern Pacific Ocean could bring heavy rainfall to Central America before moving away. November is still an active month for hurricane activity, particularly in the western Caribbean Sea.
